やりたいことはやる！で、スピーカー用の棚作った(The English text is below.)

今日はわたくしごとの話ですが、この前アンプとスピーカーのセットを買って、スピーカーを置くところがなく、しょうがなくアンプを挟んでスピーカーを左右に置いてたんですけど、どうしても音の奥行きがあまり広くないというか、良い感じの音にならないんです。

それで意を決してスピーカー用の棚を作ることにしました。

棚になる板、棚受け金具、ボード用アンカー、ネジ、奥の角に板を乗せるだけのコーナー金具を買っウキウキで帰ってきました。家に帰って来てからスピーカーのサイズに合うように、板をのこぎりで切って、断面部分をやすり掛けして平面にし、いよいよ壁に金具の取り付け！

ところがインパクトドライバーの受電が切れていて、待つこと2時間。やっとある程度充電できたので、さっそく壁に金具を取り付け始めた。ここで更に問題発生！

向かって右の壁は石膏ボードなんだけど、正面の壁は石膏ボードかと思いきや、中がコンクリートに！さすがにコンクリートだとは思ってなかったのでコンクリート用のアンカーとネジは買ってきてなかったんですよ。

それで仕方なく、インパクトドライバーを充電するついでに翌日、お店が開くまで待つことにしました。翌日無事、棚が完成！

よし、並行も保てて問題なし。

ところがここでまた問題勃発！！！！

今度はスピーカーのコードが足りない。いつも行くお店は今日は閉まっている。せっかく棚は設置したのにスピーカーが置けない状態に。「棚が完成して早くいい音で音楽を聴きたいと思っていたのに、また今日も聞けないのか・・・。」とがっかりした。

そして今日、近所のお世話になっているお店に朝から行ってスピーカーのコードを注文。そこのお店のオーナーはとっても親切で、家までわざわざ持ってきてくれた。

そしてやっとのことでスピーカーを設置することができた。

やったー！やったー！

早速音楽を流してみる。うひゃ！前と全然音が違う！音に奥行きが出て凄く良い音になった。

今回にしては珍しく、アンプとスピーカーを買って随分経ってから棚を付けた。いつもはすぐに思い立ったらやるんだけどね。

私のモットーは「やりたいと思ったことはやる！」こういうことを一人で黙々と作るのが好きなのです。

みなさんもやりたいことがあったら、すぐにやった方がいいですよ！少しでも自分が満足できる環境を整えるってとっても大事ですから。

それに人生は一度きりです。やりたいことはすぐにやった方がいいですよ！

I do what I want to do!

So, I made a shelf for my speakers.

I have a bit of a personal story to share. I recently bought a new amp and speaker set, but I didn't have a proper place to put the speakers. So, as a temporary solution, I ended up placing the speakers on either side of the amp. However, no matter what I did, I couldn't get the sound to have that deep, rich quality I was hoping for.

That's when I decided to build my own speaker stands.

I was so excited when I bought all the materials: the boards for the shelves, shelf brackets, wall anchors, screws, and corner brackets to support the back of the boards. As soon as I got home, I started cutting the boards to the right size and sanding down the edges to make them smooth. Finally, it was time to attach the brackets to the wall!

But then I ran into a problem. My impact driver ran out of power, and I had to wait two hours for it to recharge. Once it was finally charged enough, I started attaching the brackets. And then I ran into another problem!

The right wall was made of drywall, as I expected, but the front wall, which I also thought was drywall, turned out to be concrete! I hadn't bought any concrete anchors or screws because I didn't think I would need them.

So, I had to wait until the next day for the store to open while I charged my impact driver. Finally, the next day, I was able to finish building the shelves!

Okay, the parallel processing is holding up just fine.

But then, another problem popped up!!!

Now, the speaker cord is too short. The store I usually go to is closed today. Even though I've finally set up the shelves, I can't place the speakers. "I've been so looking forward to setting up the shelves and listening to music with great sound, but I won't be able to do it again today..." I was so disappointed.

So today, I went to a store nearby that I've always relied on since early in the morning to order a speaker cord. The owner of the store was so kind and even brought it over to my house.

And finally, I was able to set up the speakers.

I can't wait to hear how this sounds! Whoa, this is night and day from before. There's so much more depth to the sound now. It's incredible.

It's unusual for me, but I actually waited a while to put up the shelves after buying the amp and speakers. Normally, I jump right in as soon as I get an idea.

My motto is, "If I want to do something, just do it!" I really enjoy working on projects like this alone.

So, if there's something you've been wanting to do, I say go for it! Creating a space that brings you joy, even a little bit, is really important.
